Don Giovanni: The BIG Lead-up!

Hello again!

So here's a small update on what I did yesterday (that is to say Monday) evening:

As many of you may not know, the final dress rehearsals to the UCT Opera School operas are generally open for people to come and view. For UCT students, this provides a great opportunity to come and see the amazing talents that are showcased by the students of the SACM.

This year's production is Don Giovanni, by Mozart and Da Ponte. Directed by Matthew Wild once more (of most recent Rocky Horror fame), this production promises to literally WOW and amaze you straight out of your seat! I know that I was most impressed when I attended the dress-rehearsal yesterday evening!

Bookings may be done at online Computicket, at any Computicket outlet, or at the Baxter Theatre box office itself. If you are a  student, discounts may be applicable for certain shows -- just bring along the necessary identification and enquire about it! For more information on the production, check out the Cape Town Opera website.

Don't miss this chance to come and see this excellent production -- I'm most certainly looking forward to seeing it again this evening!

A full review to follow later on this week. :)
